Hello! I'm Alita, a 30-something wife, mother & homemaker in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. My husband and I moved to my family's homestead property in August of 2012, around the same time we learned that we were expecting our first child! Needless to say, our lives have been going through a lot of transition as we begin our journey into parenthood & being "hobby farmers."
Our dreams include becoming proficient gardeners, maintaining our small apple & pear orchard, raising chickens & pigs, and restoring our nearly 100 year old home, while we also nurture our marriage, our child and be active members of our community.
